Christos Thanos, Pediatrician – Infectious Disease Specialist, welcomes you to his practice in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. He studied Medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace, where he also collaborated in the pediatric pulmonology clinic of Assistant Professor E. Paraskakis (2009). He specialized in Germany in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine as well as in Infectious Diseases (2011–2019).

During his postgraduate training, he worked in academic hospitals of the University of Münster, gaining extensive experience in the full spectrum of Pediatrics (including 2 years in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units). In addition, he worked in the practice of Professor Dr. Stefan Eber in Munich.

From 2019 to 2023, he was a private specialist pediatrician in a family/pediatric practice in Berlin, while since October 2022 he has maintained his private clinic in Kalamaria. At the same time, since December 2022, he has also been an Associate Pediatrician at the “Agios Loukas” Clinic in Thessaloniki.

His scientific training is enriched with a Certificate in Clinical Nutrition in Pediatrics (DGKJ), seminars in Breastfeeding Counseling (IBCLC), as well as certification as an authorized partner of the A’ Test (school readiness assessment). He has also provided voluntary services as a pediatrician in refugee centers in Dortmund.
